Janelle’s positive and informative delivery of the classes set us up for a really empowered birth

Janelle is the most calm and amazing lady who knows exactly what to say in each moment. As our HypnoBirthing practitioner and doula, she supported us during our homebirth after 2 previous caesareans. Her individual classes in our own home allowed flexibility for my husband to attend as he is FIFO which was really important to us. She also supported my husband and I amazingly during the birth, helping to keep things positive. Janelle’s positive and informative delivery of the classes set us up for a really empowered birth – Thankyou

Janelle’s HypnoBirthing classes taught me so much more than I’d have learnt in any antenatal classes.

Janelle’s HypnoBirthing classes taught me so much more than I’d have learnt in any antenatal classes. I was able to birth my daughter calmly, knowing and understanding that my body was doing exactly what it was designed for. The classes also gave my partner the tools to be my ultimate birth companion which allowed me to birth completely  without fear!

She understood the concerns and worries of being a VBAC hopeful (as she’s been on the same journey herself)

There really aren’t enough ways to thank Janelle for what she has done for me. Janelle has been my doula and HypnoBirthing practitioner for 2 of my births. She (and HypnoBirthing) opened my eyes to the incredible, physiological process of birth and that it isn’t something to be feared; but to be embraced. She showed me that birth CAN be beautiful and for me, it absolutely was. Having her support throughout my pregnancies and births was SO important to me. No question was too silly, no fear too irrational. She understood the concerns and worries of being a VBAC hopeful (as she’s been on the same journey herself).

I believe how we feel about the birth of our babies can greatly impact how we transition into motherhood with a new baby. I’m so glad I had her to educate me, encourage me, debrief with me and be 100% “in my corner”. I know without a doubt that I got my dream births because of her. Janelle holds such a special place in my heart and I cannot recommend her highly enough. xxx

You can read both Sashi’s birth stories in my blog.

Her passion and knowledge about birth is what inspired me to seek the homebirth I never knew I desired

Janelle was our HypnoBirthing teacher and doula for our first born son. Her passion and knowledge about birth is what inspired me to seek the homebirth I never knew I desired. She is gentle, kind, loving and patient. She works around your schedule and is very dedicated to helping you achieve a calm, gentle birth. My family are very grateful for Janelle, she is a special kind of soul.

Janelle really is such a genuine, caring and encouraging person who knows A LOT about birth.

As my doula and Hypnobirthing coach, Janelle played a huge role in helping me to achieve the 100% natural birth that I had hoped for. The Hypnobirthing classes really helped me to appreciate and enjoy my pregnancy and birth and have left me with knowledge, wisdom and tools that I can still use my day to day life. Janelle really is such a genuine, caring and encouraging person who knows A LOT about birth.

you have a gift

I am not sure how to begin in explaining the huge role Janelle played as our doula in the peaceful, calm labour & birth of our 2nd daughter Róisín. Our gorgeous baby girl entered the world in the most beautiful drug free water birth at Bunbury’s Regional hospital on the 07.04.15. Was the most empowering & joyous experience of my life. Gave birth that morning & was home in our own bed 4 hours later. A dream birth come true for us. I contacted Janelle back in October 2014 when I was 19 weeks pregnant. I needed a lot more support this pregnancy as I was a VBAC mother . When our first daughter was born back in sept 2013 it was the happiest day of our lives because our angel was born but also the most traumatic day of my life as we had a very long hard labour that ended in an emergency C section when forceps failed to get her out. As a first time mother I was very naive in all matters of birth. I had no knowledge of hospital procedures & the chain reaction effects of unnecessary medical interventions or how fear can sabotage what our bodies know what to do. We were so lucky to have our beautiful healthy daughter but I was traumatised in failing her. Recovery took a long time, all areas needed to heal but the mental scars of failing my baby hurt the most. This would not happen again! After the first meeting with Janelle, listening to her amazing birth stories as a VBAC mother & her inspiring knowledge & love for birth I knew this lady was special. Janelle gave me & my husband the strength we needed for our VBAC journey. Through Janelle’s brilliant Hypnobirthing classes a light bulb went on as to how natural &  beautiful pregnancy & giving birth is. Trust your baby & your body. They will never fail you. Janelle answered so many of our questions &  worries, went through all our options. Was always at the other end of the phone day or night. Came to our house for Hypnobirthing classes &  provided all the materials. Met with me for extra visits nearer to labour for extra support & keep me in the zone :) Above all she believed in me. During labour Janelle was a pillar of strength to us. Set the labour suite &  birthing pool up beautifully with candles &  oils! It was like a hotel spa! :) She kept me calm through surges, using the breathing techniques & visualisations I learnt in our classes, kept me very comfortable using back pressure &  massage throughout the whole labour! Her poor hands!!! Lovely little touches like warm towels for my face &  huge encouragement & praise. My husband Shane couldn’t thank her enough for looking after us so well. She was cheering me on when I was losing faith after pushing for quite awhile. Brought me back to a calm zone &  kept saying you can do this when I thought I couldn’t. When our little lady was pushed out into the water, myself & Shane were ecstatic holding our 2nd little princess who had done just as work as me, Janelle had tears in her eyes with such happiness for us. We simply couldn’t have done it without her. She is a one in a million Doula. Will have her on speed dial for our next baby if we are still in Australia, otherwise we’ll have to fly you to Ireland :) thank you Janelle. Words just don’t cut it :) xxxx you have a gift 🙂

I would recommend you to other mothers looking for a similar experience

Throughout the whole experience I felt you were very professional in your approach. You are very open minded to what the mother wants and how she would like to have her birth. You made me feel comfortable before and after the birth by talking to me and being my friend and making sure that I was comfortable and well informed about new things available out there such as cord clamping ect. You have been there for me when I needed it most and listened to my needs and didn’t push your beliefs on me. Through the birth you were brilliant, you offered help and understood my wishes for the birth and helped me achieve those. You kept me calm and focused and kept the birth fun and enjoyable. You did a 100% amazing job and I would recommend you to other mothers looking for a similar experience and if I was to have another I would gladly pay millions for you to be at the birth!

Trust Breathe Birth - HypnoBirthing in Bunbury & Surrounds shared their event.

    { This Sunday }

Calling all Expectant Mum's and New Mum's!

I have a HypnoMothering® workshop coming up in Bunbury this Sunday! Places are limited so bookings are essential.

I'm not sure when the next one will be scheduled, so if you'd like to take part in this workshop, now is a great time to sign up!

Feel free to share this event with your friends if you know someone who may be interested.

    What is it?...

HypnoMothering® is a fun, practical, 2.5 hour class which teaches techniques to help deal with the challenges that new Mums face & help ease the transition into motherhood.

Rather than focusing on "parenting advice" for baby, this class instead discusses things that Mum's deal with themselves, and it offers resources and techniques to help you in those situations (Mum guilt, exhaustion, judgement, loneliness, etc).

It's a class which is designed by Mum's, for Mums.

    When: 8th of January 2017

HypnoMothering® for Post Partum Mums: 10am-12.30pm

    HypnoMothering® for Pregnant Mums: 2pm-4.30pm

Where: Bunbury Counselling, Spencer Street, Bunbury

    Cost: $75 - $100

    Bookings Essential.

As well as doing the class itself, you also get 8 relaxation tracks to take home with you. The relaxation tracks are specifically designed to help Mum's with issues such as sleep, bonding and anxiety.

HypnoMothering® is a stand alone class that meshes in well with the HypnoBirthing course, however it can be done by any pregnant Mum or new Mum, regardless of if you have done the HypnoBirthing course or not. You don't need to have done the HypnoBirthing course to do the HypnoMothering® class.

If you'd like to join me, you can enrol directly from my website here: www.trustbreathebirth.com.au/hypnobirthing/enrol-in-a-class/

Some of the topics and techniques covered in HypnoMothering® include:

    - Hypnotherapy and other techniques for anxiousness & sleep issues.

    - Tips and techniques to guide new mothers through a gentle transition into motherhood.

    - Discussions and techniques to Empower new mothers to embrace their own unique journey free from outside expectations or judgment.

    - How to make the most of limited sleep or broken sleep cycles

    - How to stay calm and centred through stressful situations

    - How to develop your maternal instincts

    - A safe place for mothers to find focus and clarity amidst the myriad of feelings and challenges that come with motherhood

If you would like to chat more about any of my classes, feel free to pm me. I'm always happy to answer questions!

Trust Breathe Birth - HypnoBirthing in Bunbury & Surrounds shared their event.

2017 marks the year that I will officially be stepping back from doula-ing.

HypnoBirthing, birth education and families will continue to be where my heart lies, but with homeschooling my own 4 kiddos, and my hubby starting up his own mobile mechanic business, my time is pretty stretched so I'll be taking a good look at my HypnoBirthing schedule as well.

Which means that if you'd like to learn HypnoBirthing for your upcoming birth, I can't stress strongly enough, please consider doing my January course to ensure you don't miss out!

If you're pregnant, due in the first half of 2017 and would like to enjoy your pregnancy and want to spend it bonding with your baby, then you're planning to birth your baby without fear, but with confidence and joy, I highly recommend you join my January HypnoBirthing course so you don't miss out! I'm not sure when my next one will be scheduled after that.

Please feel free to share this event with your friends.

I know it's a hard time of year for a family budget, but payment plans are available and I promise you will not regret doing this course. It's totally worth it.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
